Intro to Manifesting Your Dream Life with Affirmations

Struggling to make manifestation work for you?

 

There are SO many workshops, courses, guides, etc. that all promise to give you the perfect method to attract things into your life. If only it were that simple!

 

The truth? Manifestation IS easy – but only if you don’t get caught up in the idea of pinning down a perfect system.

 

There is no guaranteed method. The magic is in finding what works for YOU.

 

Affirmations are one of the most powerful tools I’ve discovered. They are an essential part of my mindset work every single day to help me manifest my dreams.

 

WHAT ARE AFFIRMATIONS?

 

Affirmations are simply positive statements we tell ourselves about who we are and what we want our lives to look like. Repeating these statements tells the Universe exactly what you want to do/be/have.

 

HOW TO USE AFFIRMATIONS FOR MANIFESTATION

 

The first key to using affirmations successfully is to focus on your vision as if it is already true. For example, instead of saying “I want to become abundant”, you would say “I AM abundant.”

 

These statements can be written down, repeated out loud, or just repeated in your mind. I personally use a combination of these methods throughout the day.

 

I keep a handwritten journal where I organize affirmations according to topic. When I feel the need to work on a certain area, I’ll refer to that list and continue to add new ideas.

 

Often, I’ll spend time reading these lists out loud and focus on what it would feel like to already have whatever it is I’m thinking about. I’ll even repeat affirmations out loud while I’m driving. It’s a great way to boost your mood and get excited about what you’re manifesting.

 

So, you’re probably thinking, “That’s great, but how will this actually help me manifest my dream life?”

 

 

AFFIRMATIONS BRING CLARITY AND POSITIVE ENERGY TO YOUR DREAMS

 

  1. The more you practice affirmations, the more you will clarify exactly what you want. Go with what feels good to you. Don’t overthink the process or worry about what others think you should do/be/have. Create statements that reflect your true desires.

  2. Affirmations focus positive energy on your dreams. This is basic Law of Attraction – like attracts like. You want to give as much positive energy to your dreams as possible and the Universe will respond by giving you more of what you want.

  3. On another, less “woo-woo” level, practicing affirmations daily will keep your desires at the forefront of your mind. This will help you to recognize new ideas or opportunities throughout your daily life that could push you closer to your dreams.

The best example of this is the way that when you buy a new car, suddenly you start to see people driving that same car everywhere you go. When I bought a silver Impala a few years back, suddenly it seemed like everyone in my town suddenly drove a silver Impala! The number of people driving a silver Impala hasn’t actually changed, I’m simply more aware of it.

 

If you are repeating affirmations daily – constantly reminding yourself what it is that you desire – your mind will naturally be more open to finding ideas related to those desires.
